Eligibility Criteria
Candidates intending to register for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in various faculties under the university must possess the minimum educational qualifications as detailed below:
Minimum Qualification
Master’s Degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch from a recognized University/Institution.
- Minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
- Equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale (or equivalent where grading is followed).

Important Notes:
- A Semester refers to a period of six months.
- Research Scholars shall bear all additional expenses for their study. The University's physical infrastructure and library facilities are available for use.
- A full-time scholar pays for 6 semesters. If the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) extends beyond 6 sessions, semester fees apply accordingly.
